I'd recommend refreshing yourself on PEMDAS. All you really need is basic knowledge of Algebra & Geometry. What counts as failure is dependent on your personal goals/objectives. I'd recommend keeping this one, simple fact in mind: YOU CANNOT FAIL THE PERT TEST. I ended up graduating with a diploma anyway because Ron Desantis is an AMAZING governor who waived the standardized testing requirements away thanks to COVID-19 growing to become a pandemic.)Īnyway, many students claim that the PERT test is "easier" than the standardized tests and, in a way, they're correct. I had failed the math portions of the FSA test repeatedly, so, my old high school made me take the PERT test to fulfill the required Algebra 1 standardized test requirement. Hi! I'm a graduated former student (Class of '20) who had to take the PERT test back in high school (though, my high school used it more so as an alternative to the Florida Standards Assessment rather than for the PERT test's intended purpose.
